IL ABLE Brochure Now Available in Spanish
The IL ABLE “Students with IEPs” brochure is now available in Spanish. Special education teachers and staff can share the brochure with Spanish-speaking students, parents, and guardians during annual Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings.
The brochure explains how an IL ABLE disability savings account can help eligible students and their families save for qualified disability-related expenses while protecting important public benefits.
Remember, under state law, all Illinois public schools must provide information about IL ABLE Accounts at every student’s annual IEP meeting. IL ABLE makes it easy to be compliant with the law by providing teachers with this downloadable, printable informational brochure – in English and now in Spanish! The law applies to all students of all ages who have an IEP. Read more about the new law at this accessABLE post.
