Hello! I’m Elizabeth Hamilton, the IL ABLE team’s new Enrollment Specialist.
I am here to support you on your pathway to opening an IL ABLE Account for yourself or for someone with a disability that you assist.
Are you with a:
- Group or organization that serves Spanish-speaking individuals with disabilities and/or their families? My Spanish-language webinar or presentation will get your families started with IL ABLE Accounts.
- Disability advocacy or rights organization? I can provide IL ABLE workshops to educate and help your consumers open their IL ABLE Accounts.
- Disability service, group home or day program provider? I’d love to help your organization get registered online and begin opening IL ABLE Accounts for your consumers.

I am deeply connected to Illinois’ disability community. Informed by my lived experience as a parent of multilingual children with disabilities, I am engaged in disability advocacy and multilingual family engagement. I served as President of the Family Resource Center on Disabilities and Chair of Governor JB Pritzker’s Advisory Council on the Education of Children with Disabilities, and I also serve on the Illinois Advisory Council on Bilingual Education and ISBE’s Bilingual Special Education Subcommittee.
