Disability Service Organizations: Partner with IL ABLE
Disability service agencies and organizations can now go online to open, manage, and view IL ABLE Accounts for the individuals they serve. It’s what is called the “Online Entity Management Dashboard,” and your Entity can get started now.
Entities serving as their clients’ agent under power of attorney, guardian, or Social Security representative payee can register at illinoisable.com as an Authorized Individual to open, manage, and view all Accounts in the online Entity Management Dashboard. Entities will also be able to generate and download individual Account transaction reports directly from the Dashboard, streamlining Account management.
Whether your Entity is already managing IL ABLE Accounts for its clients using paper forms – and wants to get online, or your Entity is just getting started with IL ABLE Accounts, the first steps to managing Accounts online are:
- Entity Control Person Registers the Entity
- Upload a notarized Entity Certification Form.
- Log in to the Dashboard to assign Team Members who can open, manage, and/or view Accounts.
Entities that are currently managing Accounts that were already correctly opened using paper forms will see all of those Accounts populate in the Dashboard.
If the Entity is managing Accounts that were opened incorrectly, the Accounts will need to be corrected – or remediated. Contact able@illinoistreasurer.gov to schedule a time to review the Accounts with the IL ABLE team.
