New Account Owners and their Authorized Individuals often ask how to make contributions to their new IL ABLE Account. Here are five easy and convenient options to start contributing:
You can contribute to the Account using any of these methods and watch the savings grow! Be sure to read the instructions on each form carefully before completing and sending it into the Plan.
- Mail a check. Complete the Additional Contribution Form and mail it with your check.
- Transfer money from a bank account. Set up an electronic funds transfer, or EFT, from a personal checking or savings account. Complete the Account Financial Features Form to get started.
- Set up automatic contributions. Choose an amount to be added to the account on a regular schedule. Complete and mail the Account Financial Features Form.
- Use payroll direct deposit. Arrange to have part or all of a paycheck deposited into the IL ABLE Account. Submit the Payroll Direct Deposit Form or log in to the account online.
- Send a wire transfer. Call IL ABLE Customer Service at 888-609-8683 for instructions.
